Former Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko Herbert Mensah has touted Kwesi Nyantakyi to hold a higher authority in Africa and World football, which will lead to him leaving his current position as the Ghana FA boss for others continue.

Mensah, who has been tipped for a top role at premier league giants Hearts of Oak, believes the recent happenings in the continent’s football governing body where former CAF president Issah Hayatou was ousted by Madagascan Ahmad Ahmad in the organization’s general elections indicates that Kwesi Nyantakyi has a big chance of moving up the ladder in a short time.

Speaking on Asempa Sports, the soft-spoken Mensah said, “Hayatou lost his seat, who would have thought.”

“And I am sure there will be changes here in Ghana as well, Kwesi is destined for bigger things and he will at some point say, look am going to be the vice president of CAF and that will also open new doors for others.”

Kwesi Nyantakyi is the CEO of Wa All Stars a member of the FIFA council and also the president of West African Football Union.
