The best foreign player in Kuwait, Rashid Sumaila is set for his first major trophy tonight as Al Qadsia take on Al jahra in a decisive outstanding clash.

Al Qadsia will be winning their 17th league trophy, the highest in the history of the Kuwaiti League if they are able to defeat the tenth-place side.

A win over Al Jahra will crown the Qadsia-based side champions with a matche to end the season.

Al Qadsia are currently leading the log with 62 points, two ahead of their close contenders Al Salmiya.

Sumaila, 23, was crowned the Best Foreign Player in Kuwait last night and will be adding more to his cabinet with a win tonight.

The Ghana defender has been in tremendous form for the league leaders, guiding them to the top as the most defensive side in the league conceding just 10 goals in 25 league matches.

The former Asante Kotoko and Dwarfs defender is likely to bid good bye to the Gulf after having a splendid season as many clubs from Europe have started eyeing him.
