Kotoko coach Steve Polack could leave the club at the end of the season following indecisiveness on the part of the leadership of the club regarding the future of the gaffer.

Polack's mandate with the Porcupine Warriors comes to an end at the end of the season but there are growing reports that the Kumasi club would like the coach to stay.

The Reds are yet to open negotiations with the coach over extending his contract with them after a brilliant season with the side despite joining them late.

A close source to the management of the club revealed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the leadership of the club are keen on extending the contract of the gaffer and are likely to open negotiations with him soon.

But the coach in his post match interview after his side's lone goal win over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday hinted that he could leave the club since the management is indecisive with regards to his extension.

Speaking to the media, Polack said he will be ready to stay if the management is ready to extend his contract.

"My contract was till the end of the season. The season is almost ending. The ball is in the court to the management. If they want me to stay, I am ready", he told the press.

However, with heightening reports that model club Dreams FC are keen on securing the signature of Polack, the future of the coach does not look promising at Kotoko.

Polack guided Asante Kotoko to win the 2017 President's Cup, beating their bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak on penalties.
