Zamalek's Ghanaian striker Nana Poku will miss Thursday's Egyptian Premier League derby against Al Ahly because of injury.
Poku has battled injuries this term since making his move to the White Castles this season.
Zamalek's caretaker coach Khaled Galal will not him available for the final league match of the season.
Also injured is Emad Fathi.
Zamalek will be keen to restore some pride and grab a long-awaited win over arch-rivals.
They are a distant fourth and virtually have no hopes of finishing in the top three and earning automatic African qualification.
