Injuries, visa problems deny Ghana of top players for Canada match, squad named
Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan are not part of the squad for the match

Ghana will be without some of its key players like Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew for Tuesday's friendly against Canada thanks to injuries and visa problems.

The Black Stars will also be missing Chrsitian Atsu and Rabiu Mohammed through injury while defenders Baba Rahman, Daniel Amartey as well as striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom could not get visas.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey who was due to make a return to the Black Stars team after sixteen months, will not be available for the game.

While these eight players will be missing, their absence has also given coach Avram Grant the chance to name some players who have been itching for the chance to play for the Black Stars.

Gideon Baah , Phil Ofosu, Lloyd Sam and Kwadwo Poku are among the players who will be among their debuts in the Canada game

Kwarasey's club sought permission from the Ghana Football Association to excuse him from the game because of club commitments the same week.

Dede Ayew is also missing the game in Washington due to an injury.

Captain Asamoah Gyan has already been ruled out because of a hamstring injury.

Sme players like Baba Rahman and Daniel Amartey could not get visas for the match but it gives the coach the chance to see some players he has monitored.
