John Pantsil has been named in Hapoel Tel Aviv’s line up for Thursday’s Uefa Europa League play-offs against Dudelange.

This will be the second game for the Ghanaian since he joined the Israeli side on a one-year deal last week.

He made his debut against Bnei Yehuda over the weekend and impressed heavily.

The 30-year-ol is determined to revive his career after a difficult spell at English Championship side Leceister City and expected to play consistently to earn a recall into the Black Stars.

Nigerian midfielder Nosa Igiebor, who is set to leave for Spain’s Real Betis by the end of the August transfer window, could make his final appearance for the side tonight, while several players will be recording their European debut for the Reds in Luxembourg.

Former Manchester United midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba, who arrived from Odense BK of the Danish league, will start in the center of the field, with Brazilian Bruno and Israel international Tal Ben-Haim also expected to play.

Hapoel Tel Aviv has participated in the group stage of a European competition in five of the past six seasons.
