JUVENTUS - Lemina: \"I feel wanted here, both by the club and the coaching staff\"

Published on: 24 August 2016

With a starting berth and a promising opening to the campaign already under his belt after Saturday’s victory over Fiorentina, Mario Lemina has good cause to be optimistic for the season ahead. Speaking to the Sky and Mediaset cameras, Mario had this to say of the Biancocelesti and beyond.

“Lazio never give you an easy game and this weekend’s meeting will be no different. To get the right result we’ll need to play as we did against Fiorentina and remain focused for the full 90 minutes. I feel wanted here, both by the club and the coaching staff, and knowing that what you are doing is appreciated gives you all the motivation you need to give your all on matchday. Wherever the coach needs me to play, I’ll be there. There isn’t a position that I have a natural preference for; I’m just as happy in front of the defence as I am further forward. The new signings have bolstered what was already an excellent squad. We can expect the same title rivals to challenge us this season and we know they will all be pushing as hard as possible to knock us off our stride.”
