Kevin Boateng swats aside Milan exit rumours

Published on: 17 October 2012

Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng says he will not leave Italian Serie A side AC Milan despite constant speculation about his future.

Reports say the 25-year-old is unhappy at the San Siro and could be heading for the exit in January.

Delays over the opening of new contract talks has left the retired Ghana international frustrated.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are reported to be interested in his services.

German giants Bayern Munich enquire about his availability last month.

"Of course I have heard [the speculation], but it doesn't come from me," Boateng said.

"I can safely say, I'm happy at AC Milan and I currently don't sit on packed bags.

"I also owe much to Milan and I'm not thinking about Bayern Munich or other clubs."

Milan have struggled this season after selling Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain.
