Vincent Kompany was lucky to not see red early but Man City went on to down Leicester to continue their unbeaten run.

LEICESTER -- Kevin De Bruyne's strike in the 2-0 win over Leicester City was the 50th goal he's been involved in during 76 appearances for Manchester City -- quicker than any other midfielder in the history of the Premier League.

The Belgium international's 20-yard strike secured the three points at the King Power Stadium as they maintained their impressive start to the season.

De Bruyne has now scored 16 goals since his £55 million switch from Wolfsburg in August 2015 and has also contributed a further 34 assists.
