Schalke 04 ace Kevin-Prince Boateng has stated that he is itching to play at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals Brazil.

The 27-year-old is set to play in his second successive tournament after a flourishing debut in South Africa four years ago.

Boateng, whose nationality switch was ratified by FIFA before the 2010 finals, is yearning to hit the ground running in Brazil.

During a visit to his former club AC Milan last week, he said: "I'm happy to go to the World Cup and I’m here to see Essien and Muntari."

Boateng has been excused to see his doctor and will meet up with Ghana’s squad in Rotterdam on 24 May to prepare for the pre-World Cup friendly against Holland.

you guys must understand him.he is not use to the rough Turfs we have in Ghana and the facilities we have in africa are not good.we Need him for the world Cup and we should avoid anything that will affect his knees. The guy has been operated several times.Let our FA develope our facilities first before we attack the Players.Otto Addo`s career was cut short as a result of injury whilst playing playing for the national Team, and i dont think he got any assistance from GFA.I have said my own waiting for the pundits as usual

I think we have to be realistic. He has to be included because he has played at the top level in Europe and has the confidence for this tournament. We can win without him in African competitions but on the world stage, the team always needs a few foreign born players to add a little diversity and a different attitude to the style of play. I do not think he should start though. However, we know that he is likely to score a key goal in this WC. This is the reality.

Kevin we are aware of that already oo .After that you will decide retire from the international scene, dodge coaches phone calls and visits, hahaha.then what again ??? I remember when our last Serbian coach went to see him and sulley at the milanello.sulley went to get the kevin for the coach.when Kevin saw the coach ,the talked very nice. Then he asked the coach to excuse him to join training with his ac Milan colleagues.asked the coach to sit and wait for him,in order to continue the talks to end his international retirement once his training session was over.after training instead of using the main gates of the milanello to exit, knowing well that our Serbian coach could see him.he decided to avoid him by using the back gate ..hahahah ..the coach sat there for many hours knowing that kevin will show up..which he never did ..when it was time for coach leave,he asked sulley where was kevin ..sulley replied, coachito I was just standing here with him but don't know where he went.they checked the parking lot,Kevin's car was already gone!!.. They called Kevin on phone so many times..he decided not to answer till the coach left Italy ..hahahah ..Eii kevin wo y3 azaar paaa..hahahah ..anyway,we love seeing you play for Ghana..hope you will succeed with our national team like in South Africa ...wishing you good luck ..

Afful has to wait it out against the Netherlands and Germany, he struggles against teams with size up front. He will be great against South Korea etc.

Azaaa...Kevin. We no need this guy..I swear my brodas. I don't know why people they bow to him. Ghana has too much material to be worried about this guy. Its a shame ....people in GFA they bow so low to a guy Ghana turn his carrier around. Kevin care about Kevin... Ask why Gernany never gave a damn about this guy but rather his broda?. Sports be discipline and that's what Kevin no have. This guy be the most azaaa player I ever know.

    1. Kwarasey 2. Afful 3. Schlupp 4. Essien5. Boye 6. K.Asamoah 7. Dede 8. Kevin 9. Gyan 10. Warris 11. Muntari Boye will play central defense with Essien right in front of him but behind the center circle. That means Essien will help both the defence and the midfield. Asamoah will be in front of Essien but will be behind Kevin. That means Asamoah will be playing central midfield with the help of Muntari on the left and Dede on the right with Essien behind him. Kevin will also help in mudfield but will also be feeding the balls to Warris and Gyan as he will be playing behind them.leonMay 20, 2014

who wouldn't be happy for playing 11 minutes in the qualifiers and getting a gurantee to play in the world cup. He also got the number 9 jersey from someone who is regular.
