Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has withdraw from the Belgium squad ahead of their friendly matches against Italy and Spain.
The 29-year-old is understood to have been removed from the Red Devils camp as a precaution due to a calf injury he sustained in City's 0-0 draw with Aston Villa at the weekend.
Kompany has since returned home to Manchester to continue his recovery from the niggle.
