New Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah met up with coaches Maxwell Konadu and Ibrahim Tanko- two names speculated to be his assistants-on Saturday during the Cup match between Inter Allies and Liberty Professionals.

Appiah, who is yet to be unveiled as senior national team coach, spent time with his would-be assistants at the El Wak Stadium in monitoring talents in the round of 64 match.

At half time, the three coaches were involved in chat alongside Ifeanyi Ubah coach Yaw Preko.

Appiah will officially start work on 01 May and Tanko and Konadu are expected to be No.1 and No.2 respectively.

The Ghana Football Association is expected to finalize the two assistant coaches after meeting with Appiah over his backroom staff.

Appiah faces a busy first three months with matches against Ethiopia, Mexico, USA and Burkina Faso.
