Kotoko assistant coach Godwin Ablordey remains confident 'battering' side will rebound against Hearts on Sunday

Kotoko assistant coach Godwin Ablordey is confident his side will rebound after their disatrous 4-1 defeat at Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors were cut into pieces by te Mysterious club at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast.

Bright Lukeman's brace and a goal each from former defender Christoper Bonney and Nicholas Gyan compounded the misery of the Ghanaian powerhouse.

But the club's interim assistant coach Godwin Ablordey wants to put the heavy defeat behind ahead of their super clash against Hearts on Sunday.

 

“It happens in football, sometimes you don’t get your day. Things don’t go well for you sometimes,” he told the media.

“But I we will bounce back strongly. We will overcome this defeat. We will phyche ourselves up ahead of our next game.

“We still have 10 matches to go and so all hope is not lost as I said you sometimes don’t get your day and that is football.”

Kotoko clash with rivals Hearts of Oak in the country's biggest super clash on Sunday.
