Kotoko are still demanding their share of the transfer fee of former stalwart defender Rashid Sumaila.
The Porcupine Warriors according to reports are entitled to 30% share of the total amount after he joined them on a one-year loan deal from the Cape Coast-based side.
Sumaila was sold to South African side Mamelodi Sundowns for an undisclosed fee but Kotoko are yet to get their share of the booty, barely a year since he joined the Brazilians.
ââ¬ÅWe are entitled to that money and we want that as soon as possible,â⬠deputy PRO Ali Maradona said
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s because of Nana Aidoo that why we have kept quite but we believe itââ¬â¢s time for them to pay up.
ââ¬ÅWe donââ¬â¢t want to be involved in a tussle with them (Dwarfs) due to our fine relationship but the right thing must be done.ââ¬
Kotoko are in dire need of cash ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League next month.
They are currently on a training tour of Akosombo where they have engaged in series of low-profile friendly matches.
