Goalkeeper Felix Annan has laid down a challenge to his Asante Kotoko teammates following their disappointing loss to Hearts of Oak last Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors capitulated to a late controversial penalty call by referee Samuel Sukah to lose 1-0 to arch-rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, which has generated a lot of talking point the whole week.

Speaking to Atinka FM, Annan said “That is the nature of the game, sometime you loss painful, but we just have to forget and move on, it is past and gone".

“We have to concentrate on the remaining matches, we still have about 22 matches to play and so it is important for us to overcome the defeat to Hearts of Oak,” he added.

Despite the loss, Asante Kotoko still maintain their second spot on the league table with 17 points from 8 games same as league leaders Aduana Stars but with inferior goal difference.
