Kumasi Asante Kotoko are on the verge of sealing a deal with relegated BA Stars skipper Amos Frimpong.
The right-back has been pencilled down as a replacement for Yaw Frimpong who is set for a move abroad after an excellent debut season.
Frimpong, a member of Ghana's Under-23 team, has been in Kumasi for the past week to finalise personal terms.
Kotoko assistant coach Prince Acheamong told Dinpa FM: "He (Frimpong) is the best right back we have in the country now. I monitored him throughout the season and I think heââ¬â¢s fantastic and can easily make the grades at any top club.
The high flying defender featured in 28 games for B.A Stars in the just ended season.
