Soulama is great goal keeper.  I still trust him.  We will go back to our training and will come back strong for the next match" Hearts' coach Kenichi tweeted this after the game.

The gaffer is trying to cheer up Soulama Abdoulaye ho decided the epic clash. He didn't save a penalty nor assisted a goal with one of his kick ins. The Burkina Faso international did score the only goal of the game but on the wrong side of the field, his own net.

Super Clash as this duel is called has had many super heroes and villains in the past. With the former one could talk of Bernard Don Bortey the top scorer of this derby with 7 goals. One Villain who comes to mind is the keeper in post of the red divide of Ghana when they got humiliated  by 4-0 in the millennium year (2000), Oscar Asamoah.

Then a kotoko goalie Soulama in the 2007/08 season pulled his best impressive Oscar Asamoah's horror show gifting Hearts 2 goals before he was subbed off. He was left off the hook as Kotoko rallied from behind to tie the score at 3-3.

If the Burkinabe couldn't unseat Oscar as the biggest villian in the Super Clash in 2008, 8 years later he has managed to snatch the 'golden trashcan'.

With a minute of play left in the first half, a man advantage as a result of Edwin Tuffour's unpardonable redcard in the 30th minute, Soulama teamed up with badluck to give joy to Kotoko fans when the experienced goal keeper miscued a back pass into his own net under a little pressure from Dauda Mohammed.

I'm sure the 15 minute half time break would be the longest 15 recess ever for Soulama as he would be anxious to return for the 2nd half to redeem his image.

The 2nd half started with Kotoko executing  a well rehearsed plan to frustrate Hearts and catch them on the break.

It was one of some breaks that turned Soulama's day from bad to miserable in the 63rd minute. The goal keeper was given a marching orders for bringing down tireless Dauda Mohammed on the edge of the home team's 18 yard box. The adage 'from frying pan to fire' hasn't fitted perfectly  to a real life story than what happened to the Soulama Abdoulaye.

After Soulama has been sent off bringing the game to 10 against 10, Hearts started to press Kotoko hard with substitute Ashitey  at the centre of everything but Cosmos Dauda’s bad day in front of goal meant the Phobia fans would scream ooooooh instead of goal.

Like the famous Key Soap advert, tradition goes on, for the seveth season on a row Hearts have failed to beat Kotoko in Accra.

The coaching drama at Tarkwa reached another episode when Medeama hosted Allstars at the T&A Park. Once again head coach of Medeama Tom Marcus Strand was missing in action but that didn't stop them from beating Chart toppers Allstars.

Benjamin Bature's goal 15 minutes into the 2nd half was all the Mauves needed to down Wa Allstars.

The fans will hope the win against the most impressive team in the local scene will spur them on as they travel to South Africa to face PSL leaders Sundowns in the play off round of the CAF Confederations Cup come next weekend.

At the Tema Park, Inter Allies disappointed the home fans. The 'Eleven Is To One' club had to come from a goal down to pick a point against debutant Techiman City.

Ebenezer Agyapong gave the away side the lead in the 25th minute heading home a cross from the right delivered by Iddrisu Mohammed after a brilliant spell of possession by the Real Citizen.

Evans Mensah scored from direct corner kick to grab an equaliser for the home side.

Inter Allies pushed and pushed but couldn’t find a winning goal in the 2nd half.

The result means the harbour boys are  tied with Dwarfs on 9points at the bottom of the log.

Aminu Mohammed scored from the spot and assisted Francis Adjei to double the lead as Bechem United defeated 10 man WAFA.

At the Len Clay Stadium, New Edubiase continued with their resurgent with their first back to back victory of the season which moves them to 11th on the league log with 12 points.

The game ended 2-1 in favour of the 'Yen ko nkoa' lads. All 3 goals came in the 2nd department of the game with Prince Acheampong  and Wahab Annan scoring for the victors. Seth Appiah got Berekum Chelsea's goal for them.

Earlier on Saturday in battle of who's a better player between Latif Blessing and Yahaya Mohammed, 'terminator' Yahaya came out on top helping his team Aduana Stars to hand Liberty Professionals their first home defeat.

Latif Blessing did open the scores with a goal as early as the 4th minute moving his goal tally to 7.

Former WAFA winger Zakaria Mumuni drew level for the Ogya boys ending the first half in a one all draw.

Liberty took the game to Aduana after recess and they were rewarded when Ebo Mends combined with Bernard Arthur to restore Liberty's lead only for the man of the moment Yahaya Mohammed to pull even for the away side. That was Yahaya's 6th goal in 3 games on a row.

With the game set to end in a draw substitute striker Derick Sasraku profited from  blunder by Goal Keeper Richard Arkon to give Aduana all 3 points.

At the Cape Coast Swedu Park Ashanti Gold earned a hard fought point drawing one all with Dwarfs. The Elder amongst the Nuhu twins, Alhassan scored for the miners. Dwarfs pulled parity in the 2nd half through veteran Michael Insaido. The draw wasn't enough to move the crabs from the base of the league table.

Eric Gawu 'Gatete' rolled back the years to score his first goal of the season to aid his club Dreams FC pick all 3 points from Hasaacas.

Godfred Asante gave the Dawu club the lead in the last minute of the first half with a well placed freekick.

One time most expensive player in Ghana League Eric Gawu doubled their lead in the 2nd half only for Eric Bekoe to pull a goal back Hasmal.
