Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Kumordzi is delighted to have ended his goal drought for Racing Genk in the 3-0 win over Kortrijk in the Belgian Europa League playoffs on Sunday.

Kumordzi recent years has been seriously hampered by injuries and had a total of just 158 minutes.

"Honestly, I do not even know when my last goal was," said Kumordzi afterwards.

His last goal for Racing Genk was back on 15 May, 2014 so after scoring on Sunday night he went straight to one man on the bench.

"Nordin Jackers told me I was going to score, so I went straight to him.”

The 32-year-old’s contract with the club expires at the end of the current season but says he is ready for any outcome.

"No, I know nothing, but I'm preparing for all scenarios", his voice little confidence.

"Or I can change that by scoring more goals? I hope so," laughs Kumordzi.
