Defender Kwabena Adusei has replied his former club Asante Kotoko over claims he ditched them to sign for South African side Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The centre-back was accused of stabbing the Ghanaian champions in the back to sign for the Premier Soccer League side.

Kotoko accused him of absconding to the Rainbow nation to sign the long-term contract.

Adusei has revealed he was out of contract and did nothing wrong in leaving the club.

“I had no contract with Kotoko so I could do my own thing. This is what they must all understand so that they will stop describing me as a traitor,” Adusei said.

“I never turned my back at the club but rather the club did because they did not take my issues into consideration and were not prepared to meet my demands so I had to move on to where I would be cherished.”

AZZARO is right! Kotoko should have started negotiation when edusei had a year on his contract! Instead they spent hard cash on useless players such as rahim ayew & Isaac boakye last year! We are in a professional era & management must be smart!

i sometimes wonder if these local players learn at all?,,,,,,,,,,,Kotoko and hearts are teams you don't joke with when it comes to issues like this, you most deffinately need their blessings before you can succeed so am always shocked to see these players behaving this way.

Azaro,we all know your contract was due fine. Why didn't you tell them you're no longer interested in their contract before you.Where did you got the passport you traveled with. You have your right once your contract has expired so,why did you leave unceremoniously. If you have the guts to talk back, then please explain to us all where you got the passport to travel to South Africa. If not you will one day face the law of the land.Thank to you and heed to my advice.

Azaro, That's just the best way for u to handle things. well done. That soo called didi dramani would have ended up making u a waste. A coach that will never give his youths the chance to show case their talents in the premier league. players like Mujeeb Abdul Hakeem Lukman tek are one of the best talent u can find right now in Ghana but the coach is trying to make them go waste. so I don't see any problem at all with Edusei ditching them!!!

Guys, u don't have to be angry that the guys have left their clubs. How can you allow a player's contract to expire before you call him for negotiations? Don't you follow the European transfer market? Once it's left with a year or two on the contract they quickly offer you a new one to avoid situations like this. Anyway I'm not surprised because Ghana is still in the stone age & not ready to do things professional or develop

Could someone advice Adusei to shut it up? The news broke out some months ago about signing a pre-contract agreement with Black Ace which he denied. If he can keep quiet n concentrate, it would be ok. The love for money. The evil that men do, lives after them. We live to see. Nti Boakye, Yahaya Mohammed, Issah Yakubu n Adusei....... time will tell. congrats
