Ghana striker Kwame Kizito has opened his scoring account for Al Ittihad of Tripoli in their 2-2 draw with Al Shamoo in the Libyan League Cup on Tuesday.
Kizito, who joined Al Ittihad as a free agent from Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak last month, registered his name on the score sheet for the Red Devils with a thumping header in the early minutes of the tie.
The game ended 2-2 in regulation time but Ittihad managed to sneak into the round of 32 after winning in the penalty shoot-out.
Kizito was instrumental in the Black Stars B team that won the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations.
