Liberty Professionals secure investor to revive club, managerial restructuring to hit Accra side - report

Published on: 06 October 2016

An unknown individual has reportedly bought a majority stake in Liberty Professionals.

The Premier League side will be under a new ownership following their miraculous escape from relegation last season.

The scientific soccer lads have endured financial stress since the demise of owner Alhaji Sly Tetteh.

Co-owner Felix Ansong has been unable to fund the club amid teething financial crisis which has bedeviled the club.

He has been in search of an investor since last year and appears he has found his man.

Liberty are confident a strategic investor will help position their brand with several managerial changes expected to hit the club.

The club has already dissolved the technical team following their poor campaign last term.
