Liberty’s George Lamptey laments on bad officiating in 1-1 stalemate with Hearts

Head coach of Liberty Professionals George Lamptey has cried out laud about the officiating in the 1-1 stalemate with Hearts of Oak in the week seventeen clash insisting center man was poor.

Referee A.D. Mohammed had a tough day handling the two vociferous sides reducing Liberty’s numbers to ten after Bernard Arthur was given a second yellow card.

And the Liberty coach insists his side were at the receiving end of the poor officiating of the day.

“As for officiating, I don’t want to talk about it,” George Lamptey angrily said.

“For the past 20 years, officiating has been destroying our game and nobody seems to do anything about it,” he added.

George Lamptey’s comments come at a time that many clubs have complained about poor officiating.

Many referees have suffered serious bans while others have been demoted to the Division One League.
