During the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the early hours of this morning, Liverpool star Marko Grujic was injured in an aerial challenge with Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the 20-year-old was sent to hospital and couldn't remember anything from the incident.
“In general the biggest problem for me is that Marko Grujic is in hospital.
“He can’t remember anything. That’s not too cool for a young boy in this situation.
“Injuries happen in pre-season. It can happen. It’s unlucky but it’s not too good for us.”
