Lukaku to grab double at West Brom?

Published on: 14 December 2017

It was a very profitable midweek, with the Home Banker landing in the shape of 5/4 Burnley while our Tasty Treble -- paying just shy of 9/1 -- also scooped after wins for Leicester, Burnley and Manchester United. The Premier League action continues this weekend and we've got all the best betting angles covered.

Running total: £-87.47

The Home Banker

Arsenal have won seven of eight home games this season and dominated the game they lost against Manchester United a few weeks ago. Newcastle are in the midst of a wretched run and look in real danger of an immediate return to the Championship unless new investment is found. Boss Rafa Benitez is on record as saying their squad is not good enough and a slick, speedy Arsenal side can expose them at the Emirates, where Arsenal to win without conceding looks worth a play at odds against.

Selection: £5 on Arsenal to win to nil at 21/20 with bet365.

The Tasty Treble

The last time Liverpool went to Bournemouth they blew a 3-1 lead in the final 15 minutes before losing 4-3. While the Reds are hardly impenetrable defensively this season they should have enough to get past Bournemouth on Sunday and look a solid shout at 1/2. So too are Chelsea (1/3), who are at home to a Southampton side who have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last seven outings. Add the Blues and the Reds in a treble with Leicester (19/20), who have been absolutely flying recently. With Riyad Mahrez pulling the strings the Foxes should be too good at the King Power for Crystal Palace.

Selection: £3 on the treble at 2.81/1 with bet365.

The Euro Wager

Napoli might have been knocked off top spot in Serie A but they remain one of the best teams in Italy and look a smash job to beat Torino on Saturday. Torino lost both league games against Napoli last season, shipping five goals on both occasions.

Selection: £2 on Napoli to win and both teams to score at 9/4 with bet365.

The Wildcard Tip

He might have scored on Wednesday evening but "flat track bully" accusations continue to be levelled against Romelu Lukaku, who seemingly can't score against the big teams. To be fair, he has failed to find the net against Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool so far this season, but the big Belgian does tend to turn it on against teams outside the top six. He's a 4/1 poke to score two or more against West Brom on Sunday. That looks a fair price against a very ordinary Baggies outfit.

Selection: £2 on Lukaku to score 2+ goals at 4/1 with bet365.

Leroy Sane was rested in midweek but should be restored to the Manchester City line up as they face a crunch clash with Tottenham. Sane has been in sensational form this season for the runaway leaders and looks value at 6/1 to score first against Spurs. So too does Shinji Okazaki, who has played a starring role in Leicester's recent resurgence and who looks tempting at 11/2 to open the scoring against Crystal Palace. The Sane-Okazaki first goalscorer double pays a whopping 44.5/1 with bet365 and could set Christmas up nicely if it lands.

Selection: £1 on Sane-Okazaki first goalscorer double at 44.5/1 with bet365.
