Swedish giants Malmo FF have frozen midfielder Kingsley Sarfo out of the team and denied two months salary following damning rape allegations against the Ghanaian.

The 22-year-old expensive summer acquisition is facing prison term in a dramatic turnaround which threatens his promising career.

The Ghanaian has been accused of having sex with minors on several occasions with the club initially lifting a ban imposed due to the shocking episode.

Malmo FF chairman HÃ¥kan Jeppsson has confirmed the former IK Sirius midfielder is not being paid his monthly entitlement because he's not working.

"He is not being paid now because he is not working," says HÃ¥kan Jeppsson

"We are dry on our feet, therefore we keep payroll payments on those who are working.

"If you are not employed, you can not receive compensation. It's the same with injured players. We will do everything possible to assert the club's and our members' right in this matter, of course, "says Jeppsson to Sydsvenskan .
