Juventus fullback Daniel Alves is being linked with a move to Manchester City.

The Sun says the Brazilian who spent four years at Barcelona under City boss Pep Guardiola, is keen to give the Premier League a crack before his retires.

Alves, 33 was close to joining City in January – But injury scuppered the move, however the Juve defender is still on good terms with Guardiola and City Director of Football Txiki Beguiristan.

City are open to the ides of bringing Alves to England, but his wage demands rather than his age could prove a major stumbling block.

He also turns 34 in May, which flies in the face of Guardiola trying to lower the average age of his squad.
