Man Utd boss Mourinho: Round of 16 opponent? Lyon?

Jose Mourinho insists he is not too fussed with who Manchester United draw for the Europa League Round of 16.

The Red Devils are through to the next knockout phase after beating St Etienne 1-0 this evening through Henrikh Mkhitaryan's first-half goal for a 4-0 aggregate triumph.

Ahead of Friday night's draw, Mourinho was asked if he had a preference of who United would come up against in the next phase.

"Not really. I am used to difficult draws," he told BT Sport.

"I think now 16 teams, strong teams, some of them coming from the Champions League.

"If I could choose, I would choose not to travel a lot because we have Chelsea in between the two matches and Middlesbrough away after the second match, so if you give me something like Krasnodar or some very far destination I would prefer Olympique Lyon, which is two hours' flight.

"I would prefer something close."
