Jose Mourinho is closing in on signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan, reports Sky Sports. Borussia Dortmund's CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, confirming Manchester United have made an improved bid for the player.
Dortmund's has told German media that they'll make a decision on the Armenia midfielder over the weekend.
Sky Sport reported on Monday that United had made a new bid of just over £26million.
