Medeama Administrative Manager Benjamin Kesse is calling for harsher punishment for bad referees in the Ghana Premier League.

The Tarkwa-based side are alleging that referees in their last three matches have aided their opponents to beat them.

Medeama were bitter after losing 1-0 at home to Aduana Stars and want action to be taken against the referees.

“We have officially lodged complaints and told them to watch the video tape of the game,” Kesse said.

“Line one Daniel Agyin was very bad on the day, but seriously speaking punishments to referees are very soft.”
