Medeama fail to account for Faisal at home

Medeama were left frustrated at home after being held to a 0-0 draw by King Faisal on Wednesday.

The Mauves and Yellows failed to make home advantage count as Faisal left the Tarkwa and Aboso Park with a point.

The home side dominated possession for the better part of the exchanges but struggled to break down a stubborn King Faisal defence.

The tactical disposition of the Kumasi-based side worked to perfection with a resolute defensive display while catching their opponents on the break.

In the end, they survived the scare as coach Mallam Yahaya’s charges left the venue with their chest held high.

It was a disappointing display from Medeama who recorded a 3-0 win over Berekum Arsenal at the same venue last Sunday.

But they found their opponent difficult to crack as they frustrated them to nick a point.
