Medeama return to Tarkwa for home matches

Posted On Monday, 31st January 2011

Medeama Sporting Club have confirmed they will return to the Tarkwa T&A Park for the remainder of their home league matches

Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club have confirmed they will return to the Tarkwa T&A Park for the remainder of their home league matches.

The team were forced to adopt the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi for their home matches after the Tarkwa pitch failed to meet to specifications of the Premier League board.

Medeama will host Berekum Arsenals when the league resumes on 2 March at the refurbished T&A Park.

They beat Real Tamale United 3-0 in the MTN FA Cup at the venue.

Bashiru Hayford’s side are in second place on the league standings, ten points behind leaders Berekum Chelsea.
