Michael Anaba has been ruled out of action for two weeks

Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba has been ruled out of action for two weeks with a muscle strain, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 18-year-old picked up the problem during Kotoko’s 2-0 friendly win over Right to Dream Academy on Wednesday.

The ex-Windy Professionals combative midfielder will thus miss the club’s next two games, starting with Sunday’s home tie against All Stars.

He will also sit out during the side’s crucial tie at Berekum against Berekum Chelsea on 19th December but could be available for the home tie against Real Tamale United.

The news will be a massive blow for Kotoko as the highly-rated midfielder is regarded as one of their most important players since joining from Windy Professionals last year.

He played an influential for the club as they won last season’s Ghana Premier League.
