Millwall to have reduced ticket allocation for Tottenham clash

Published on: 22 February 2017

Tottenham are due to hold talks with the Football Association this week regarding Millwall's ticket allocation for next month's FA Cup quarter-final at White Hart Lane, reports the London Evening Standard.

Spurs will discuss the matter with both the FA and their local Safety Advisory Group, which comprises representatives from fire brigade, council, police and the club itself.

FA Cup rules allow for an allocation of up to 15 per cent of a stadium for away supporters. With White Hart Lane currently operating at a reduced capacity of about 31,500, it would amount to a maximum of about 4,700 tickets for Millwall fans.

That number would have to be approved by the Safety Advisory Group, however — and it is believed the allocation is likely to be closer to the 3,000 mark.
