Moro Abubakar has moved to clarify his situation at Hearts by insisting he is happy at the club and has plenty to achieve.

The workaholic midfielder has being strongly linked with a move away from the club following the expiration of his contract.

He turned down a move to Berekum Chelsea  but the mega-spenders have not give up hope  that the non-stop engine could change his mind.

Medeama SC are also keen to acquire Abubakar's services despite interest from Czech Republic side FC Slovacko.

“Hearts is on my Hearts and so I have no intention of leaving the club,” Moro told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“I will only leave the club if I get a contract abroad. The support that I have enjoyed from the fans is what have brought me this far. And so I cannot turn my back on them.

“I have spoken with the officials of  the club and the offer they gave me is very good.

“I sat with Togbe Afede. He has taken me like his son. The way he loves me and spoke with me, if I turn my back on him, it will not be fair.

“I have not yet signed the contract though but we’re still on it. Only an European deal can separate Hearts and me.

“I seriously doubt if I can leave here and sign for another local club.”

Abubakar was one of  Hearts best performers this season.
