Jose Mourinho has reportedly come to an agreement in principle to manage Manchester United.

The Portuguese tactician is on the verge of signing a three-year deal with the Red Devils which will land him around £15million per season, according to the Daily Mirror.

It is understood that personal terms have been agreed with the former Chelsea boss who is highly likely to now replace Louis van Gaal in the summer.

The report also suggests that Atletico Madrid sporting director Andrea Berta, who is a good friend of Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes, will also move to Old Trafford and take over the role of signing players from executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
