Deportivo Alavés manager Abelardo Fernández left out Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso in the side's 1-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna for technical reasons.
The 27-year-old was left out of the squad as they won courtesy Munir's 61st minute strike at the Estadio de Mendizorroza.
Wakaso has impressed since joining the side.
The Ghana international has made 12 appearances so far for the La Liga side.
