Panathinaikos midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has been spotted wearing West Ham United jersey while on holiday in his native Ghana to fuel reports he could joining the Hammers.

The Ghanaian was pictured wearing the Hammers kit at a training session in the capital, Accra to heightened rumours he could be on his way to the London stadium.

The 26-year-old, who is a target of English Premier League side Swansea City, has claimed he's close to switching to England.

Wakaso enjoyed a fabolous loan spell at Spanish side Granada last season where he scored once in 11 appearances.

The Ghanaian is owned by Greek giants Panathinaikos but he is angling for a move after the club failed to pay his outstanding wages.

English Championship side Reading were forced to deny claims it had agreed to sign the combative Ghanaian.

The former Celtic man is a close ally of West Ham forward Andre Ayew.
