Midfielder Sulley Muntari insists AC Milan must win the Milan derby to keep alive their chances of winning the Serie-A.

The Rosseneri are just a point behind leaders Juventus going into Sunday’s important derby with Inter.

And Muntari who has been reborn since crossing carpets from the Nerazzurri to join Milan in January in a loan deal says he is anxiously looking forward to the game.

“Sunday's game is very important and we must win to keep our title chances,” he said.

“I am very happy at Milan, I came here with great enthusiasm.

“I registered today because I play with great players who help me, like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Antonio Cassano and Kevin-Prince Boateng."

Milan will have to win their last two games and hope Juventus drop more points in order to be successful in the defence of the Scudetto they won last season.
