New Edubiase have angrily rubbished media reports claiming they owe their players running into several months.
There were widespread reports in the local media on Monday that the players were agitating for their outstanding wages which has dragged on for months to be paid.
But deputy Chief Executive Alex Ackumey has angrily reacted to the reports and described them as figment of peopleââ¬â¢s imagination.
ââ¬ÅI donââ¬â¢t know where these stories are coming from. It is not true and weââ¬â¢re not happy that people can peddle such falsehood,â⬠Ackumey said
ââ¬ÅWe donââ¬â¢t owe any player. You can call any of them and find out if you want. We even paid them before we played against Berekum Chelsea.
ââ¬ÅSo please people should simply desist from making unsubstantiated allegations so we can focus on returning to our best."
The FA Cup winners have endured a patchy run in the top-flight this season.
They beat Real Tamale United 2-0 at home last Sunday and will make the short journey to Kumasi to face champions Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.
