Ghana winger Christian Atsu will not be available for Newcastle United this weekend when they play Watford in the English Premier League.
The 25-year-old, who suffered a groin injury whiles training with Ghana is recuperating from the injury.
The injury kept him out of their game against Manchester United which they lost 4-1.
The Magpies have also been dealt a double injury blow with Lascelles and Merino are set to miss the Watford clash.
