Abedi Pele will take coach licensing courses only if a special session was arranged for him, the Maestro has told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Ghana FA has formulated a policy that only certified coaches would be allowed to work in the jurisdiction.

However, without any coaching qualification whatsoever, Abedi Pele was able to guide his Nania team to FA Cup glory but says he could consider the possibility to do a professional course but on one condition.

“Well, if a coaching session would be held for only Abedi Pele then so be it," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Everything is possible, I enjoy what I am doing and I am doing it to the best of my knowledge."

With the new policy and Pele’s coaching status in conflict, it is unclear whether he would be allowed to continue his role as coach of his own team.
