The Premier League Board has rescheduled this weekend's League matches to next Wednesday due to Sunday's crucial CHAN qualifier.

The league's organizer explains that the decision is allow the home-based national team players to fully focus on their assignment.

With seven matches to end the 2009/2010 campaign, the PLB is hopeful of meeting the Fifa deadline set for the wrapping up of domestic leagues to make way for the World Cup finals.

PLB Chairman Welbeck Abra-Appiah said: "The CHAN team must get the necessary support to qualify and also the coach of the team is yet to name his final man squad and we wouldn't like to have some games postponed.

"As the rules state, a club with three or more players on international duty can call for the postponement of its matches."
