Newly appointed technical director of Bechem United Malik Jabir says his primary aim will be to help the club remain in the Ghana Premier League.
The 69-year-old has been handed the job to oversee the club’s technical direction ahead of the start of the new football season.
The ex Asante Kotoko trainer will be signing a contract with the club this week and says he intends to help the club to retain their top flight status.
“Last year, they played well. They could have even gone higher,” he told Metro FM.
“So I am coming to help to ensure they remain in the league.”
Jabir played a similar role for Nigerian side Kano Pillars in 2008.
