Ghanaian international midfielder Prince Buaben made a return from injury but was unused by Hearts of Midlothian who defeated Rangers 2-0 in the Scottish Championship top-liner on Saturday.

Hearts manager Robbie Neilson had confirmed the 26-year-old had recovered from a slight injury problem and was expected to play.

But he was limited to warming the bench in the entire game for the Jambos who further widened the gap between themselves and Rangers after the win.

The former Ajax Amsterdam Academy graduate has been influential for Hearts since joining them before the start of the season and is likely to secure promotion back to the Scottish top-flight with them.
