Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi revealed he wanted to leave his current side after being heavily linked with a move to Juventus this summer.
The 29-year-old was reportedly eager to try a new experience with the Bianconeri, but the club blocked a move and he 'had to accept it'.
Matuidi told French football show Telefoot: "The club decided otherwise and I had to accept it, it was quite a tricky time because I had a wish and that wish wasn't granted."
