Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed his interest in Theo Hernandez to Atletico Madrid.
While Atletico president Enrique Cerezo insisted after Saturday's 1-1 draw that no-one from Real had asked after Theo, Don Balon suggests otherwise.
It's stated Perez told Cerezo before their lunch that Real would be meeting Theo's €24 million buyout clause. After that, it would be up to the player to decide what he'll do.
Atletico are furious with Real's pursuit and have threatened legal action.
The defender is currently on-loan at Alaves.
