The Black Satellites crashed out of next year’s Olympic Games after losing 4-5 on penalties to Congo away.

Ghana went into the second leg with a slender 1-0 advantage but unfortunately could not get the all-important away goal to sail through.

Congo dominated the first half and deservedly got themselves back into the game thanks to goal from Â Raja Casablanca youngster Sylvere Ganvoula to pull the tie back to 1-1.

Malik Jabir’s side managed to absorb all the pressure from then and managed to send the game into the ultimate decider, lottery of penalties where eventually the home side won 4-5 to end Ghana’s dreams of making it to the Olympic games in Rio next year.
