Possibly leaving Juventus next summer, due to not being a key player for the team anymore, Italian international midfielder Claudio Marchisio (32), who has just turned down, so far at least, the chance to join Major League Soccer on a very rich wage, has become a market suggestion for Schalke 04. German club, in very good terms with Serie A reigning champions, will lose Leon Goretzka (headed to Bayern Munich after current season ends), and possibly Max Meyer as well, leaving therefore a lot of room for an A-list in the midfield department. Currently on a deal with Bianconeri until June 2020, Marchisio is at the time cashing in a 3.5 million euros annual salary.
