Solomon Odwo maintained as Chelsea coach as Rudolpgh Armah becomes Technical Director

Berekum Chelsea coach Solomon Odwo has been retained as the head coach of the team with Rudolph Armah ascending to the position of Technical Director after management embarked on massive technical changes a few days ago, Ghanasoccernet.com understands.

Odwo who was unknown to the football world last season popped up and guided the Berekum-based side to 4th on the league table in the just ended season.

Until his appointment, Rudolph Stephen Armah doubled as the Physical Trainer and Assistant Coach of the team As well as playing the role of a Team Manager of several occasions.

The Berekum-based side is urgently putting structures in place for what they envisage as a very competitive season as their Communications Manager noted.

“This season was a tough one and we think next season will be tougher looking at what the other clubs are doing. So we need to put better plans in place ahead of the season,” Isaac Amponsah, Communications Manager of Berekum Chelsea told Ghanasoccernet.com
