Spanish-born Ghanaian attacker Inaki Williams insists he's happy at Athletic Bilbao following mounting reports surrounding his future.

Williams, 22, has been strongly linked with a move away from the club in the summer with Liverpool believed to be leading the chase.

The reports further suggest that an advanced talks have been reached with the Ghanaian expected to move to Anfield in the summer.

But he insists he has no intention of leaving the side.

“People have put words in my mouth, things that I have never said," he told Mundo Deportivo

"I am where I want to be and that makes me very happy.

"I have always fought to stay with Athletic and I have no intention of leaving."

He has signed four goals so far for the Red and White this season.
